Things to do in Badian, Cebu: Kawasan Falls

Kawasan Falls is located in Matutinao, Badian, Cebu.
The beauty of this place made the two hour drive so worth it.

The place was as captivating and enchanting as it can be.
I will just have to let the pictures speak for itself.

To get to the falls, My family and I walked for as little as a kilometer from the main road. (That's roughly a 10-15 minute walk, give or take.)

In this picture, my dear mother and brother posed for a photo-op in one of the bridges you will meet along the way. HAHA

There are a lot of things one should know when coming to Kawasan Falls:
1. On the main road, you will be greeted by locals who pose as tour guides.
You don't really need them because the falls is just basically at the end of the road.
2. There are pension houses and restaurants at Kawasan. The food is a bit pricey but yummy.
3. Life jackets, cottages and the rafts are for rent.

The picture you see is just one of the three levels of the Kawasan Falls.
For me, the base waterfall is the best because the water-drop is higher and the swimming area is bigger.

We rented a raft to go under the falls.
Once there, we had the water's current give us a soothing full body massage.

My brothers and I did canon-balls and wacky jump shots into the water.
Dad just stayed ashore to take our pictures.

Everything  was perfect.
Nothing could have ruined my mood that time for I had everything I needed: my family, adventure + nature and my camera.

More adventures straight ahead!

Player Layer

I bought this cardigan from a thrift shop a few years back.
But I only had the opportunity to wear this today.

After all, summer is an opportunity to wear all things bright and colorful

I was channeling my conservative sexiness in this look right here. HAHA.

I was conservative enough to hide my sunburn prone areas such as my arms and back but also
sexy enough to show the beach body I have been working on.

Cardigan: Thrift Shop
Trunks: Speedos
Slippers: Havainnas

Can you see yourself rocking a look like this? Be brave and embrace all your perfect imperfections! HAHA

This is my last post of my 5-part entry about my stay at Crown Regency Hotel and Villas in Mactan.

Stay tuned, ladies and gents, for more styles to come.

Cheers for now and YOLO Responsibly.

Things to do in Moalboal: Basdako Beach

Powdery White Sand.
Clear Pristine Waters.
Peaceful Tranquil Serenity.

Surely, one does not have to go too far in search of a haven like this.
Travel to the South Side of Cebu, all the way to Basdako Beach in Moalboal.

Where the sand is as fine as powder and the sea is the reflection of the clear blue sky.

The place can be compared to the beaches of Boracay, minus the loud music and rowdy crowd.

There are a lot of cottages/rooms for rent ranging from 1500- 2500 pesos.
If you think the price is over your budget, you can always opt to bring a tent and set up a camp along the shoreline.

You don't have to worry about food either.
There are a lot of food establishments ranging from restos to carenderias offering deliciously cheap meals.

This was one of the many stop-overs my family and I had during our Southern Sojourn.

Catch more of my summer travel adventures coming soon.

Cheers for now and YOLO Responsibly.
